I have no idea what to write here anymore. I am out of practice! Fashion for Life recently opened its doors, so let’s start there. As one of the longest running charity events in SL, FFL proves itself to be a must see event. The scenery, set up and organization of this event is top notch. If you go to their site, it is a shopper’s dream. They have urls listed by sim and also alphabetically. They have direct urls to stores. The sims are quite beautiful, but also not too laggy. There were a couple of times I looped around in circles and was confused where to go next, but for the most part the pathway folds around effortlessly, allowing one to just take in the shopping experience. But let us not forget our other reason for going to FFL: charity. Your shopping will benefit the American Cancer Society. It is a cause that is close to my heart because of my own personal stories, so I always make an extra effort to stop by FFL. You can find Mon Cheri (MC) located on the FFL Trek Sim. I am wearing a very cute flowing dress from them! The sleeves are separate, so you do not have to wear them, which I thought was fantastic. You can also find Donna Flora jewelry as well. Yes, you heard me correct. A close up picture below:
Miamai has graciously saved these pieces for us to experience once again the beautiful creations of the late Donna Flora. I am not sure of the story details, but the sentiment warmed my heart. You can find these Donna Flora pieces on the FFL Wander Sim.
Lastly, my first picture and the one below were taken at at NorderNey, a beautiful, relaxing location!

I often feel like I am my own worst enemy. I focus 100% on the task at hand. Good-If you have my attention, then you have 100% of it. Bad-If you don’t, I will ignore you. This seeps into every ounce of my fiber. Whatever I am not doing, kinda just fades to the back of my mind. Inevitably, some things get out of hand and some people get pretty mad.
Two things collide in these pics: The Black and White Challenge by Maci Restless and the fact that I feel a bit overwhelmed. I was aiming to do something destructive to match my mood at the moment. I was just testing poses, and realized that this particular pose above by Delmay looked as if I was trying to catch the bat thwarted by the object in the back. Voila. Perfect. I kinda liked it. The area was particle heavy and all the shots, no matter what, would not cooperate, so I cropped it more than I wanted. I didn’t really fix anything…just let it be and changed the colors. I did have a story in my own head about these photos. They may not be my best, but I loved thinking outside of the box, and trying to make it happen! Thanks Maci!
FaMESHed is under way. They have tons of goodies. I am being a conservationist and only buying what I plan on using in the moment instead of going FaMeshING-crazy. This round, I picked up some shoes by Decoy and some hair by Wasabi Pills. I am sure I will keep going back to FaMESHed all month. I also tried and loved the Glam Affair Lilith Skin. It is beautiful. Is it me? Not so sure. I loved it enough to buy it though! Her skins are always so sleek and sophisticated. They scream buy me. I am sure you will see it sprinkled among my blog posts. Kamouraska also put out Noranda Chevron Kaftan dress in an exclusive Teal color for her group gift this month! Kamouraska does have new exclusives each month, so make sure to join right now–it’s free! (Sorry, you can’t see the color…whoopsy!)

I really adore when people use little props in their photos–it seems to bring movement into a picture. However, I am an itsy bit scared of them because I can hardly manage to get my little avatar looking tip-top, so add in a few butterflies, and the whole photo can quickly head south, but miraculously it wasn’t too bad–not adding much in originality, but I think it ended up looking pretty good (if I may say so)! I have been attempting Photoshop a little bit here and there, so sorry for completely overdoing it in a few places, but you have to start somewhere. ;) My top is from the always impressive store, Peqe. Oh ruffles–you are so cute! My skin and jeans are from Grixdale—they are having a closing sale (which is a shame for me, but I am glad to see someone making a decision for themselves to be happy–and her store Aura will remain open as a creative outlet). If you are smart, you will head to Grixdale before the end of this blog post or you can continue to stick around because you are curious. I am feeling long-winded today. My darling butterflies are from Lauria Poses, and I combined them with a Delmay Pose. When I put this outfit together, I was looking for some tousled medium length blonde hair, and would you know it–the Letluka gods sent out a notecard for their new hair–and would you know it–tousled medium length blonde hair–talk about “have-to-blog-it” moment.
Sending you happy thoughts.

*I am getting really lazy at details lately…but rather than log wrong information, I will come back tomorrow after my beauty sleep to fix the vague credits. But, I remembered all that without even being logged into Second Life–that makes me special…right?!
