This new outfit from Baiastice at The Boutique is so sleek and fresh, which makes sense considering the theme this month for the event is indeed Fresh.  I love the bright colors of the tops and skirt and there are so many color options available that can be mismatched together to create different looks.  The soap purse from Olive for The Boutique is so adorable, and I wish I had more time to find a pose that would highlight better, but I couldn’t find one, so you will just have to believe me.  Sorry! You can also find Ikon’s Destiny Eyes at The Boutique! They are gorgeous obviously!  The Boutique “Fresh” is open until June 10.

I am loving the new colors available Truth Hair.  It was kinda a shock because I just settled into a blonde I liked, but then it changed.  I am still deciding which color will be my thing, but it is fun to see the the evolution of Truth Hair.  I can’t wait to see what other changes might happen in the future.

So, yesterday I decided to try a relaxing adventure to World Goth Fair 2013.  I had a few brands that I saw items from that I really wanted to check out.  Wow.  I really need to read blogs more carefully.  For nearly 15 minutes I was trying to navigate Goth Fair using the wrong freakin map.  I was so frustrated.  Mind you, this is not anyone’s fault but my own.  I was tired. I was zoned.  I had spent 8 hours deciphering teen speak at work which can make the normal mind explode after 5 minutes.  I mean WOW.  I have never felt so stupid.   But, I managed to figure out where I was and for what I was looking for which leads me to *drumroll*  Half Deer’s release, the Necromancer headdress, Bilo’s dress and skin release, and Perception’s neck corset.

I’m kinda proud I was able to pull together a look after my debacle.  I figured I would give up, but I did and I like it.  If you know this blog, I don’t venture too much into Fantasy and such, so I tried my best to present my Goth look.  Bilo’s new skin is fantastic, and helped me quite a bit.  From as far as I can tell (not a skin expert), the shading just seems more complementary in this skin line, I love the lips, and there seems to be much more overall attention to detail.  The skin itself just screams tempress, at least to me.  There is also something so alluring about this face.  I love getting a chance supporting skin makers who continuously try to improve their lines of skins for their audience.  I have a few of Bilo’s previous skins, and I can say I approve of some of the changes and advances she has made as a skin maker.

My eyes are a new release by Ikon, and I really loved the color Starfall in his new series Vanity Eyes.  Finally, Ison released a new Scout Boho bag not too long ago that I think finished off my outfit perfectly. The bag comes in all sorts of colors.  I picked up a chocolate brown one as well.  Three pose options are included with the purse.  Sorry to be all choppy and on the fly, but life happens!

A reminder to everyone out there of two awesome events going on right now: Collabor88 and SL Fashion Week.   At Collabor88, Glam Affair is slowly releasing different tones for their Margot line.  I am featuring the Europa, and I love their skins, so no need to go down that path again. Every once in awhile I make a purchase strictly because it sets me back into to my past.  The piece that totally did that this time is Lenox’s 1991 dress available at FaMESHed this month.  You would think I owned such a dress, but honestly, I had my nose buried in books as a child, but my sister, the stylish one, most definitely did.  I remember sneaking into her closet as a middle schooler and playing dress up.   Yes, I was that annoying little sister who hanged on every word my sister said and mimicked her every move.  Really,  she played cool very well.  I wished so much that I could pretend so well I made it real.  I didn’t.  Maybe it was because I tried real hard…really hard to make fairies and huge castles in the sky happen, but that is beside the point.   I was in awe, at the time, of the image she was able to create.  Fifteen years later, I often get to chat with my sister about the past.  She talks of being insecure, of not knowing who she was, of second guessing every move.  I always thought the opposite. Shows you that no matter how close you are (we shared the same bedroom), reality is really just perception.   Smoke and mirrors.

I just wanted to show off my FaMESHed outfit.  Heeeyyyya!  Sorry, I have been doing RL work stuff, so I am a bit loopy.  Also, my blog has also been infiltrated by evil little creatures who space things weird and make me angry faced, but I will see how this goes and hope it looks okay!  

These two pieces are probably my fav FaMESHed pieces I have tried on so far.  I adore the style of the Odette top by e!.  The ruched/bloused waistline, the side knotted bow, and the floral prints (I talked about me and florals in my last post. Obsessed) really are flattering and unique. I want this in RL.  I liked the jeans by Monso.  They remind me of another brand that I like a lot, but they only had flare options, so these are a great skinny jean option.

I had a dream this past week. It was messed up.  I dreamed that I was late for work, and I could not see the time on any clock.  Every clock had the time blurred out.  It sucked.  The end.

On a brighter note, Has Been released some new items.  I really love this dress. I have no clue if it was me, but I couldn’t get the alpha to work, so I used another alpha that matched up with this one, but the fit is flawless. [UPDATE: the creator contacted me inworld, offered a new version with alphas fixed within two days of me posting this blog! That is some great customer service!]  I am addicted to florals, so my apologies if flowers make you sneeze and such.  I just can’t get enough of flowers on this and flowers on that.  Also, inadvertently I took this dress off at Truth Hair today, so I had my bits showing.  If you were there, sorry!  I would say I was embarrassed enough to leave, but I just put that dress right back on and kept on shopping. No way I was going to leave that store after it took me hours to get in!  This is really just a regular day in the life of awkward Sophee.

Speaking of hair, Tram  released new hair.  I am excited because Tram always has cute short hairstyles which is my thing most definitely. Finally, I decided to glam up my spring outfit by pairing it with Glam Affair’s Janna Statement necklace for FaMESHed.   Yes, it may be a tad bit much with the outfit because it is so elegant, but this is my blog and I wanted to. Pretty=pretty.  That being said, I bet this would lovely with a formal gown!

As I have told you previously, I am obsessed with everything home and garden, but at least I took one close up of myself, wearing the new Sasha skin from the Skinnery.  I like it.  It may not become my everyday skin, but I change skins often, so every skin I purchase becomes more of a canvas for whatever I am wearing.  The Skinnery skin has such a cute little nose and mouth I couldn’t resist!

FaMESHed is having a one year birthday event.  I stopped by briefly when it first opened and picked up the Truth Melody bustier in Vintage because OMG, he is making clothes!  How can you not buy them!?  The fit is amazing.  The texturing amazing.  The cute factor amazing.  I also picked up Wasabi Pills adorable pigtails.  Darling aren’t they?  Yep.  I also have this urge to buy all the home and garden accessories I can find! Garden domination! Muahhhahah.  Cheeky Pea revealed their summer picnic set complete with picnic table, picnic food, grill, cooler, adult bevs, and flags string penant.
